My Review

Creative New Quilts & Projects from Precuts or Stash, by Wendy Sheppard is packed with Creative Goodness. The  projects in this book are all beautiful and would be fun to make for your home, as well as for gifts.   They all have easy to follow instructions with great visuals.  With ten projects in this book, it is an exceptional value, perfect for quilters of all levels.

The projects range in size from 16 1/2″ x 12″ to 78″ x 90″ and include such projects as placemats, pillows, table runners, wallhangings and full size quilts.  Some of the designs include raw edge applique and templates are included for delightful whimsical motifs.  For those that enjoy free-motion quilting, you’ll also be inspired by the photos of finished quilts, as well as a few suggested FMQ motifs for selected quilts.

I hope you get a chance to check out this amazing new book at your favorite Quilt Shop.  Of course, if you don’t find it, you can let them know you are interested in having them carry it, as they simply may not be aware of it.  And, don’t forget you can also find this book online at Landauer Publishing, as well as Amazon.

  1. I NEED this book. I love Wendy and her work is gorgeous, and her first book was wonderful, too. Thanks for the chance to win, but I’ll be buying this anyway.

  2. I would like to have this book if for no other reason than the espresso wall hanging. Anxious to see what else in in it. On my way to check out her blog. Thanks for the review and give-away.

  3. I’m convinced that Wendy has several clones who work with her! She is one creative woman with beautiful results. Her new book will be another of her quilting stars.
