#CreativeGoodness Linky Party – October 9th

Creative Goodness at QuiltShopGal

~ Create ~ Share ~ Inspire ~ #CreativeGoodness ~

Welcome to another week of #Creative Goodness and our Linky Party for sharing.  All forms of creativity, bloggers and non-bloggers are encouraged to share any project they’ve been working on, tip, tutorial, recipe, or other form of creativity.

What does #CreativeGoodness mean to you?

I’d really like to hear your thoughts about Creative Goodness, as I’m having difficulties finding the right words.  I’m visualizing my regular dinner table and feel it all too frequently lacks #CreativeGoodness.  But when I see a dinner table that is beautifully set, it certainly captures how I feel about creative goodness, as it is so inviting and inspirational.  I have the same feeling about food.  Simply stated, we need to eat and we could prepare Hamburger Helper for dinner, but that definitely lacks creative goodness.  Or, we could prepare a yummy meal that stands out as it is truly packed with creative goodness. For example, last week Carol from My Carolina Home, shared an amazing recipe for “Slow Cooker Bourbon Chicken With Mushrooms” with us.

Carol shares tutorials, inspirational quilts, yummy recipes, craft projects and all sorts of #CreativeGoodness on her delightful blog.  I hope you’ll click thru to check it out.  Of course, there are a variety of ways to follow her, but like all the bloggers that share in our weekly Creative Goodness Linky Parties, you can also follow her at My Creative Blog list.

Thank you to everyone who shared their creativity this past week.  All the sharing was total #CreativeGoodness.  If you haven’t had time to check out all the inspirational sharing, there is still plenty of time to click thru for more photos and insights.

Here is the linky tool for our #CreativeGoodness Party this week.  As always, any form of creativity is appropriate to share, so long as it is something you made (or you are in the process of making).

  1. What Creative Goodness means to me. It is what I made with my 2 hands, sewing, quilting, knitting, designing, cooking, growing food in my garden, etc. It is what I creative and the goodness I put into it to make. Thanks for this linky party and your post on appliqueing your star in place. Your technique of leaving the papers in worked for me. From a happy quilter who has advanced her applique skill beyond what she thought she could do.

    • I like your definition of Creative Goodness. And I’m delighted my, probably weird, approach of leaving papers in my EPP project (or at least the outer parameter) in, until I finish the applique’ step worked for you. For me, it just makes the applique part easier.

BTW – Many years ago there were papers that you could leave in and they’d wash out. They were made by some off brand and disappeared off the market, probably because few new about them. I’m hopeful that one of the bigger notions companies will one day bring a new product to market that will wash out the EPP templates. Maybe if enough of us keep suggesting it they will sooner than later.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and find time to enjoy and create.
