I’m so gosh darn excited to share insights with you today about Paula Reid, a free-motion quilting expert.  Paula will be teaching a 2-day class at Sewing Machines Plus in February..  This is a great opportunity to learn/improve your free-motion quilting skills, as well as gaining insights on how to manage large quilts on a domestic machine, as Paula will share her “Fluff and Stuff” technique with attendees.  And, of course, I want to encourage you to attend this class if you are able to do so.

Sewing Machines Plus has several locations, as well as a great online store.

Did I mention a sneak peak on the 2015 Free-Motion Quilting Challenge?

Paula was one of the FMQ Experts that shared a wonderful free-tutorial during the 2012 FMQ Challenge.    During the 2015 FMQ Challenge, in the month of July, QuiltShopGal will again proudly showcase Paula as an FMQ Expert.  Participants in this online challenge will have several ways to participate and enter to win prizes.  Of course those that take this workshop with Paula will certainly have gained expertise to help them in this challenge.  Challenge participants will be able to  utilize her free-tutorial, use tips and designs found in her  DVD “Beyond the Basics: Free Motion & Trapunto”, as well as insights from her online class at Craftsy “Start Machine Quilting”.  But seriously, don’t overlook the opportunity to learn from Paula in person.  A two day workshop with her will certainly be fun  and a great way to learn/improve your FMQ skills.

All the details for the FMQ Challenge in July, will be released on QuiltShopGal on July lst.

For those that can’t make it to this upcoming class at Sewing Machines Plus, you may want to consider taking her class on Craftsy, which again will also help you with the July FMQ Challenge:
