Today I’m truly delighted to be able to share insights with you about a new fiction book for a sweet romantic story, set in the 1800s, with heartwarming characters that include a goal oriented educated “English” woman and a business man who owns a  textile in Philadelphia.  The story unfolds around a quilting bee, with the key characters negotiating to achieve their personal objectives thinking they would fulfill their life, but they later realize they can find greater happiness in a common goal.

MY REVIEW:

The Quilts of Love novels are written by a variety of authors, that each share a unique story where characters come to life, we learn about their challenges, their dreams, their heartbreaks.  Yet each book leaves us feeling like we’ve made new friends and we want to celebrate happiness, when they find it, after what may be a long life journey.  And, every story is centered around a quilt or quilting!

While there are now 24 novels in the Quilts of Love series, they are each stand alone novels, which you can read in any order.  I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed everyone of the Quilts of Love series and looking forward to reading more.  Their newest book “Masterpiece Marriage”, by Gina Welborn, may very well be my favorite.  Gina did a fantastic job painting the characters, the scenery and the plot, whereby two lead characters could easily be happy going after their life goals on their own, but yet while they are completely different people, they also compliment each other and bring out the best in each other.  Gina, brings her characters to life in this delightful historical romance.

This was a fun read, which I would happily recommend to others.

Full Disclosure:  I won a copy of this book, but I am sharing my honest opinion in this review.
