Today is one of my favorite days, as I get to share insights with you today about new books with #CreativeGoodness from Martingale, and how you can win a copy.

Martingale works with talented authors to publish excellent books throughout the year.  They’ve just release three new books which caught my attention:

Simple Friendships, by Kim Diehl and Jo Morton

My Review: Easy to fall in love with this new book packed with 14 quilt projects that come with easy to follow instructions and great visuals, perfect for quilters of all levels, at an amazing price.  All of the designs are eye catching, but Liberty Star certainly caught my attention.

Miss Rosie’s Farmhouse Favorites

My Review: Miss Rosie’s designs are always fun and perfect for those that love scrappy quilt projects, but designs also work for those that wish to coordinate.  With 12 favorite quilts from Miss Rosie’s Quilt Company this book is an excellent value, perfect for quilters of all levels.  I’ll confess I’m inspired with all the designs in this book.  Definitely a “must have” book for fans of Carrie Nelson, but also a great book for anyone.  I’m confident this is going to be a best seller.

Zen Chick Inspired, by Brigette Heltland

My Review:

Packed with refreshing modern designs, the 12 designs in this book are perfect for quilters of all levels.  I think the designs are also very versatile, to adapt sizes and styles, where the possibilities to create are endless.

There are a couple of ways you can win a copy:

1) Stitch This, the Martingale blog, has a giveaway where you could win a copy of Zen Chick and a bundle of fabric from Moda.  But you need to enter by March lst.

2) Thanks to Martingale, copies of Zen Chick,  Simple Friendships and Miss Rosie’s Farmhouse Favorites will be given away as prizes, to participants in the Precision Piecing QAL.  But you’ll need to enter by March 15th.

I hope you can check out these new books at your favorite Quilt Show, but if you don’t find them, do let them know you are interested in them making these books available to their customers.  They are such new books, stores may not yet be aware of them.  Of course, you can also check out these books online at Martingale, as well as on Amazon.
