Thinking about the upcoming Valentine’s Day, I began to wonder if I’m the only one who likes to make handmade items to decorate my home, or give as gifts.  Thus, my question of the day “Is Valentine’s Day an event that inspires you to be creative?”

I hope you’ll leave a comment to let me know what you think about this being creative for Valentine’s Day. I also hope if you have photos to share, for any form of creativity that you’ve made for Valentine’s Day, that you’ll share it on my Facebook page.

  1. There is just so much to inspire us – and you’ve done it again. Makes me want to go home from work and dig into some reds and pinks. Valentine’s Day is definitely a holiday that I have almost nothing made. Guess I need to change that. Thanks for the fun ideas!!

  2. What a great collection of projects, I like several of these… As to making projects just for the day… not so much anymore, but, I think these types of things can be used any time of the year, just to say I love you or your special. Thank you for putting this together.

    • Hi Carole. Your heart wall hangings and plans for a scrappy red quilt all sound beautiful. If you are on Facebook, feel free to share on my Facebook page @ To clarify, I’m not hosting #CreativeGoodness Linky Parties this year on my blog, but I do currently have a linky party going for a FMQ Quilt along. I just found when I have more than one linky party going on people get confused and post their sharing to the wrong linky party. Thus, I’m trying to encourage people to share their creativity on my Facebook page.

  3. Perfect timing! I was just thinking this morning that I want to make a heart quilt, I think I’ll be back to pick one of these once I’m finally caught up.

  4. Oh my gosh such inspiration. Thanks for including mine, I just came by to read your blog and was so surprised to see it there. What fun free projects as well. Just fabulous!

    • Your round heart Valentine’s table topper is definitely one of my favorite designs for Valentine’s Day, but also perfect for any romantic time of the year. Absolutely lovely design.
